Microsoft reportedly acquires cloud security firm Adallom for $320 million

Microsoft has reportedly acquired an Israeli data security firm named Adallom for $320 million. The news comes from both Calcalist and Globes, two Israeli business publications. According to the reports, Microsoft is also going to open a cybersecurity operation in Israel. Adallom concentrates on securing data stored in the cloud, and seems to focus on enterprise solutions ahead of consumer-facing products.
